Saint-Sernin: le jewel of Roman art

A jewel of Roman art, the Saint-Sernin Basilica is a UNESCO World Heritage Site that has for centuries welcomed pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela. Beneath its octagonal belfry, you will discover an immense vaulted nave and a crypt that houses many relics. Amongst these, you will find those of Saint Sernin, the bishop who became a martyr during the III century and after whom the basilica was named.
