Along the waterways

Discover Toulouse differently during your stay at the hotel

A stroll along the waterways

Numerous waterways run through the city of Toulouse: the Canal du Midi, Canal de Brienne and the side channel to the Garonne. Listed a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Canal du Midi links Toulouse and the Mediterranean Sea. Inaugurated in 1680, created by Pierre-Paul Riquet and completed in the XIX century with the side channel to the Garonne in order to carry boats to the Atlantic, this waterway flows gently under the shade of centuries-old trees. When you follow the canal, clocks stands still and you travel beyond time to experience a more serene Toulouse. Whether on foot, bicycle or by boat, you will have a delightful journey.
